I would sew, make jewelry, cross stitch, scrapbook, paint, draw, and just about any craft kit you could find at Walmart in the 90’s and early 2000’s. When I started high school, there really wasn't much elective courses to choose from and I didn’t want to go into Home Ec. So, I stayed with computer and art classes. That's when I fall in love with the history of art and enjoyed working on the computer.
When I met my husband, we both had a year and a half together before he left for USMC boot camp in 2008. Since I already had a brother in the Marines and a few cousins in the military, I knew what to expect. With knowing that, it still wasn't easy. I did work during the day but at night I really nothing to do. So, I started to learn about graphic and web design. I found great tips and tutorials on how to create graphics and how to work with HTML coding. From there, I learned everything I could about graphic design, web design, and my program.
When we got married and moved cross country, we didn’t have much. So, I wasn’t able to craft like I use too. That’s when I stumbled on digital scrapbooking. This was right up my ally and something I could get into since everything was on the computer. We just got married, moved, and had a new baby, so we didn’t have much money at that time. I knew a little bit about designing graphics, so I started to learn how to create my own digital scrapbook kits. From there, I started my first business selling digital scrapbook kits.
Of course with time, things have changed and the way I scrapbook has changed. After all these years, the one craft I kept was memory keeping. On this blog, I plan to sho you the pages I make physically and digitally. I will also bring you helpful tips to scrap your own memories easily and quickly.
I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions, please feel free to get in contact with me.
