Last week I was feeling a little festive and wanted to make a few Christmas crafts. I also needed a gift for our ‘Elf Louie’ to bring to my boys. I’m in the group Dollar Tree Craft Ideas and Dollar Tree DIY Projects on Facebook. I saw someone post about a snow globe they made and that they brought everything from Dollar Tree.
So, I went to my local Dollar Tree store and went shopping. I got a few craft supplies along with the the things I needed to make our snow globes. I knew I needed at lest two snow globes and I wanted to make some for myself also. I found these cute little snow globe ornaments that was prefect for my two boys. Then I found two jars that I could use as my own snow globes. Below is a picture of all the supplies I got and used to make my snow globes.
Once you have all your supplies, you would want to put together your snow globes. Honestly, I just winged this and didn’t know what I was doing. I put my glue on my little figurines and used my tweezers to place them where I wanted them. I should have used a different kind of glue so it would dry quicker but the glue I used worked fine. I also put glue all at the bottom of my jars so some of the fake snow would stick in place also. The items and fake snow was very staticy. So I think for next time I’m going to use a dryer sheet to wipe everything down before placing them in the jars. Other than that, I think they came out really cute.
